Mark Curesky informed us of the following:

Marty got out of surgery about 6:45 pm Tuesday.  It was a three hour surgery.  The quad muscle of his right leg was ruptured.  They repaired the rupture as well as the fractured ankle.  Wednesday, they are intending to have him up and have him return to the rehab center in Newington.

I do not know the length of his recovery.  I do know that he cannot put any weight on his leg for at least six weeks.

Please keep all of our ailing and sick friars, family members, friends, benefactors and companions in your prayers, especially Paul Marut, Marty Kobos and David Stachurski.  Let us also remember all those who are caring for them.
